Believing in the Scriptures as inerrant is a core part of our Catholic faith, but how can we understand things like slavery, the killing of people by God and by order by God, seeming contradictions, and other “dark” passages of the Bible? These, and other passages, can be stumbling blocks for the faithful – and are often used by people to attack a belief in the Bible. This course is designed to look at some of these passages and give the participants the tools to understand them in a faithful and Catholic context.
