Scripture Sense: The Gospels Seen in a New Lens
How Catholics read the Bible is different than how most Protestants read the Bible. This presentation will allow the participants to understand how the Catholic Church reads and interprets the Bible through exegesis and the Senses of Scripture (Literal and Spiritual [Allegorical, Anagogical, and Moral]) and how the four Gospels, though different, can be understood and seen at a deeper level for what they really are, how they are written, and the focus and themes that each gospel writer conveys. After this presentation you will not look at the four Gospels the same way!
